Flight Polypropylene is available in:

• Four embossing patterns
• Sheet or roll form
• Flame retardant and UV stabilised grades

Physical properties of Polypropylene

• Good stiffness and rigidity especially at low temperatures
• Good abrasion resistance and tough, hard wearing finish
• Readily vacuum formed or fabricated
• Can be welded
• Exceptional resistance to environmental stress cracking
• Internal hinge - good ability to form a hinge which will not crack when bent
• Suitable for use in microwave ovens
• Long term or frequent exposure to ultra violet light is not recommended unless coloured black or with cadmium pigments. UV stabilisers can be added
• Polypropylene is flammable and can float on water

Chemical properties of Polypropylene

• Impermeable to water - easily cleaned - will not stain
• Non toxic - USFDA approved for food applications
• Resistant to brine, acids, bases caustic soda, bloods and fats
