Flight Plastic Packaging manufactures high quality thermoformed, thin-walled plastic packaging. The plant is located in Wellington with a sales office and warehouse in Auckland and a growing profile in both domestic and export markets.

Flight customers can choose products from a stock range or have customised packaging designed and built in-house. A broad range of packaging is produced for the food industry, along with packaging for medical and horticultural goods and light-weight dunnage for the manufacturing sector.

With an almost limitless array of applications, Flight is regularly providing new products to businesses and industries outside this traditional customer base. Quality tooling and the continual upgrading of plant and engineering facilities allow the division to keep up with the latest international trends in thermoformed products. With extensive knowledge of the packaging and food industries, our design team allows us to find the most efficient solutions to meet customers' specific needs.

Flight offers a range of polymers, including APET, PLA, CPET, HIPS and PP, and with in-house extrusion available we can provide customers with tailor-made products.

Our experienced engineering staff are dedicated to the design and production of tooling. Using the latest design software, a customer's idea can be quickly developed into a prototype and, with in-house CNC-machining capability, we can build tooling and manage, on site, the entire process through to production. In addition, a large range of stock product lines are constantly added to and upgraded, providing quick, effective solutions to many customers' needs.
