Flight Timbers Ltd has established itself as a consistent producer of the highest-quality radiata pine for markets in Asia, Australia, Europe, the United States and New Zealand.

Based in Marlborough, New Zealand, Flight's operations encompass the establishment and rotation of renewable radiata pine forests. Extensive silviculture ensures the forests produce a high proportion of pruned, high-grade logs for processing in our sawmilling operations.
Export grade logs are shipped to markets in India and South East Asia.

Flight's profit reinvestment policy has seen the timber processing operation grow strongly since it was purchased in 1988. The original sawmill was closed in 2004 and a new, expanded replacement built at Waters Avenue, Blenheim. With many upgraded quality and accuracy features, it has more than doubled the previous plant's capacity.

Waters Avenue is the home of Flight Timbers' drying, treating and re-manufacturing operations, with the sawmill now also on the 6ha site and room for further expansion. All manufacturing and all staff are in one location, placing the business in a good position for its next growth phase.
